Two Agence France-Presse photographers were awarded prizes at the annual Bayeux-Calvados photo festival on Saturday.
AFP Digital Courses earned two distinctions at the 4th Annual Anthem Awards on November 19.
The platform received Silver in the “Product, Innovation, or Service” category for “Education, Art & Culture.” It also secured first place in the Anthem Community Voice Award, determined by public voting.
Belal al Sabbagh and Youssef Hassouna, in Gaza, and Luckenson Jean, in Haiti, have been nominated for the prestigious Rory Peck Award, which has been given to the best freelance journalists since 1995. The winner will be announced at the award ceremony in London on 28 November.
The Inter-American Press Association has announced the winners of its Awards for Excellence in Journalism.
AFP's multimedia documentary, "Nothing is Impossible: The Odyssey of a Migrant from Venezuela to the United States" won in the "Claudio Paolillo" category for Migration Journalism.
